Literature Review

In the initial weeks of this course, I was tasked with examining literature related to educational technology implementations. The purpose was to identify effective measurement strategies and ideas that could be implemented in my action research plan. Based on my research and findings, I plan to create a formal literature review supporting my action research plan. This review will be a more comprehensive version of the literature review I created in EDLD 5305.
Conducting an exhaustive literature review is a crucial step in the research process. It provides researchers with a solid foundation to build their study and contribute to advancing knowledge in their field. In subject 5305, Disruptive Innovation, I created the first literature review related to my Innovation Plan about using Blended Learning to teach mathematics. In this second literature review for subject 5315, Assessing Digital Learning, I am conducting an Action Research study on the impact of blended learning on kindergarten children's math learning.
Also, implementing this plan, called improving reading levels by implementing blended learning with station rotations, will help students reach their academic goals. At the same time, they will have choice, voice, and ownership during the whole process (COVA). Research studies at Lamar University show that the COVA approach positively impacts the program's learners (Harapnuik et al., 2018).
