Contribution to your learning
and your learning community

I firmly believe that human beings have the power to do amazing things; the only limit is the endless sky. We have the keys to helping others develop their abilities, keeping the experiences we have to design plans or strategies that can contribute to the learners being better and reaching their goals. However, people are not born with experiences; it takes time to go through life. When I think about the contributions that these courses have given me and how it has contributed to my life, my professional career, and my community, I can only say it changed the way I live my life every day because I am still discovering abilities that I have and that I have never thought were in me.
One of the benefits I received from this course was that, as a student, I need to get experiences and knowledge from others and share mine with them. Not only do my experiences count, but simultaneously, as a teacher, I have learned that it is crucial to create an optimum learning environment in each stage of educational life. In this course, I learned how to organize and analyze my innovation project by evaluating my learning process, assessing the lessons learned, and applying these insights to how I would lead innovation projects in the future. Additionally, I learned how to communicate and promote my innovation plan/project, analyze the lessons learned, and plan to complete and promote the project.
Moreover, the experience I gained in this course helped me understand that presenting and sharing information I have gathered and tested in my environment is a great way to connect with others and demonstrate leadership skills. In this course, I had the opportunity to put into practice the values learned in other classes, such as choice, ownership, and voice, through authentic learning opportunities. Furthermore, another relevant point is that research has demonstrated that incorporating feedforward or educative formative assessment will also help to continue that shift toward the learner mindset. The power of a growth mindset is powerful and impressive and needs to be shared with everyone.
During our assignments, we shared our work by sending links to our portfolios and giving each other feedback. During our meetings, we discussed how to approach each assignment and helped each other manage our schedules and delivery dates. We examined two subjects and gave each other objective feedback to help each other. I now fully understand the APA format and no longer need to work on improving it. Our reflections were insightful, and we gained valuable advice and experiences from each other.
Working together as a team is crucial for achieving goals quickly and effectively. When people work as a team, their skills are combined, and they can overcome weaknesses. Different people have different ways of thinking, which can help to create new and innovative ideas. Teamwork is good because it promotes support and friendship between colleagues and reduces the work each person needs to do so that everyone can work more efficiently. To be successful, team members need to communicate with each other openly and effectively. They should also have clear roles and responsibilities. It's essential that everyone in the team trusts, respects, and is committed to working with each other. By working together, people can achieve more than they could alone. This creates solid relationships and a sense of community beyond individual boundaries.
Dear colleagues and friends, This message is not to say goodbye but to say, "See you soon." I want you to know that you have a friend in me, and I hope all your dreams and goals come true. I want you to know that I admire and respect you. I am grateful that we can work in teams on this subject. Without a learning community, we would be limited to a single perspective, and we wouldn't be able to conduct in-depth analysis, give and receive feedback, and ultimately succeed in all ten subjects. I am leaving calmly and with many valuable lessons learned. I have also gained two more friends. Thank you all for everything.
At this point, I will determine the numerical score for the self-assessment; this is my first master's in education. However, I am trying to do my best and will keep improving in the areas where I need to. I have in EDLD 5315, 90 out of 100. This grade reflection is based on the fact that all key contributions were met, and some supporting donations still needed to be met. Every day is an opportunity to apply the knowledge I have acquired in Lamar University courses. The power of “YET” reminds me that things could look complicated on the road, but I can reach my goals with effort and perseverance.
