Effective learning principles are necessary guidelines for teachers and students to learn in the most efficient way, and the more these principles are reflected in training, the more effective it will be for both.

 

Professional learning (PL) involves much more than a staff meeting or a group of teachers getting together to discuss a book they have read. Instead, a PL represents the institutionalization of a focus on continuous improvement of staff performance as well as student learning. It is called “the most powerful professional development and change strategy available.”

 

PL, when done well, leads to reliable growth in student learning it is the process of learning new skills and knowledge through continued education and training after you have entered the workforce. This can include attending classes or workshops, earning certificates, or attending industry conferences to learn more about your field. Professional development is about staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices and networking with other professionals in your industry.

My project aims to create a radical change, which includes the teachers as well. Constant professional development will enable us to create, innovate, and improve the quality of education that we provide in the classroom.

This, in turn, allows teachers to effectively transmit their newfound knowledge to their students and achieve their goals.
