Implementation

Outline

During the 2024-2025 school year, the project will continue incorporating rotation blended learning, adjust the activities based on the students' learned skills and reactions and practice the routines which is very important with Pre-Kinder students.  The students will have the opportunity to learn through online resources, peer collaboration, teachers, and assistant teachers.

Phase I: Planning at the beginning of the year (March-May 2024).

  • Share my Proposal and Literature Review, with administration staff and colleagues.

  • Meeting with the parents to present the project goals and expectations.

  • Develop a Blended Learning approach and rotation model.

  • Set measurable short-term goals.

  • Gather any supplies, materials, apps that students and teachers will use during  station rotation.

  •  Collect the district curriculum for small group rotation in Pre-Kinder.

  •

Phase II: Planning (April 2024 - August 2024).

  • Small Group Station.

  • Technology Station.

  • Carry out the specific planning of which blended learning method will be used.

  • Define the activities to be carried out in the rotation.

  • Implementation meetings with teachers, counselors, and leaders  one time a week to discuss the advances and clarifications.

  • Create a formative assessment and checklist to know the students' knowledge level.

Phase III: Implementation (September 2024  - December 2024).

  • Implementation station with activities and collect evidence of the advances of the Pre-Kinder Students.

  • Continue to investigate effective methods of rotation blended learning in Pre-Kinder.

  • Rotations standard, rules and expectations will be established with the students every week of the beginning of the school year.

  • Improve routines will be held accountable for their own learning for the first two weeks of the month that school starts.

  •  Implementation the technology of iPads, headphones, chromebooks.

  • Design and apply isolated activities to assess the level of student's knowledge considered Texas Pre_Kinder.

  • In-home learning activities for families.

Phase IV: Reflection (January 2025).

  • Reevaluate, Regroup, Rejuvenate, Restart.

  • Assess progress and meet with the rotation blended learning team to address new goals for the following new year.

  • I will continue to seek feedback to meet the needs of any committed teachers who support the plan.

Reflexion the following questions:

  • Is it working?

  • Why or why not?

  • How do we know?

  • How could we improve it next year?

  • Are teachers pleased with the implementation?

  • Do teachers believe students' learning has been positively impacted?

  • Are more students engaging in more profound learning experiences? (Bailey and Martin, 2023).

  • Are student developing the growth mindset?

  •

Ask for constructive criticism from co-workers and administrative staff to reflect on mistakes and successes from a different perspective.

Start a new school cycle based on last year's experiences, trying to improve the mistakes, taking into account the characteristics of the new students and their needs.
