The topic of my article

As an educator having a growth mindset, in my opinion, is essential for learning math as an educator. Having a growth mindset means understanding that our intelligence and talents are not fixed traits but can be developed with effort, perseverance, and by learning from our mistakes. A growth mindset is defined by Carol Dweck (2006) as the belief that your fundamental qualities are things you can cultivate through your efforts, strategies and with help from others. ’

Having a growth mindset means that students believe in their ability to learn and change, which is key to encouraging students to make appropriate academic decisions by accepting challenging tasks, persisting through difficult times, and ultimately succeeding. Math skillsIn addition to a growth mindset, technology is at the heart of how we are teaching and learning math. By leveraging digital tools like educational apps, games, and simulations, students can participate in adaptive, interactive learning experiences to make learning math easier, more participatory, and fun. In addition, these tools aid in fixing the loopholes in the math concepts with an assessment to individual realization to receive feedback and support from teachers.

I have been working as an educator and I introduced blended learning in my classroom. I have seen first-hand the power of a growth mindset in conjunction with technology in changing the way students experience math. As Horn and Staker (2015) chronicle, online learning has come a long way since it first appeared, though, of course, not all online learning is of equal quality. This trend of disruptive innovation is promising because it points to the fact that low-level disruptive technologies tend to get better over time. The internet is faster and more reliable across the US than it was a decade ago. Synchronous Online Communication (Eg: Skype, Google Hangouts) It is easy and cheap to hold online meetings or sessions.

Having developed a mindset and accessibility from digital tools in my teaching, the immersive, inclusive and learning-practical experience I am able to provide in students' math skills development grades me a great marksman as teachers go! I also challenge my fellow educators to further investigate these areas and consider how they might adopt a growth mindset and technology in their own instructional approaches to nurture these same learning skills in mathematics from their students.

Platforms considered for publishing my article

I reviewed an article by. The 2024 Thibodaux, performed in 2024, for the most comprehensive look at the best website for my article. From the list, I chose four examining sites, including Edutopia, eLearn Magazine, Educational Technology and Mobile and TeachersTube. Each of these websites is beautiful in both content and size of the educational community, which is why I have not decided which I love the most yet, but that is a decision I will have to make soon, here, I outline why each of the websites is great.

Connecting with my Innovation Plan

Blended learning in my Innovation Plan is aimed at enhancing the arithmetic learning capabilities of the young class of students. I would like to talk about how technology and a growth mindset are both becoming very beneficial for my students. These days, it is more likely that a school will place more emphasis on the teaching and learning of reading and writing and not much on the teaching and learning of ACADEMIC MATH. It looks as if we are all too comfortable with merely just being able to add and subtract and way beyond the need to multiply, divide or work out the percentage of something. While this may sound boring and challenging for many, we are lucky to have several digital resources to make math fun and accessible. How to learn Math easily instead of making it the most dreadful subject.. If we treat Math as an exciting and adventurous subject, it will turn easies to learn, not as the one that we are afraid of. Math can be anything from fun to amazing if we instill in children a way of learning and a positive attitude.

How can my article help teachers and parents?

For teachers: There are so many ways in which we as teachers can teach Math, and most of them are very effective, but if we add a few more strategies and skills, there are many chances the learning part will become very quick for students. Working with our fellow teachers will allow us to get better with our math methods. The more we collaborate with other teachers, the more we recognize the opportunities to collaborate with your teaching in math, and the more we can influence and reflect on what works for us and what does not.

Discussing them with other teachers is a great way to break down some tough ideas while making them a little more understandable for our students. If you can relate to this, then here are some suggestions in mathematics where being adaptable and modifying the instruction is crucial for students to learn basic math facts. What type of professional development might we engage in, either via Blog or via Support Groups, that would provide us with new pedagogical approaches and high-quality math assignments and messages in order to make math more understandable to students? Using these strategies and skills, we can be better equipped to differentiate for our students and thereby teach math in a way that is purposeful and practical.

For parents: In this article provides information for Parents on how their kids’ learning makes it a more engaging turf for them. This translates into concepts parent can apply in everyday situations at home that will leave them feeling assured their children are being provided the right nutrition to develop fundamental life skills. There is also increased focus from a different article on the critical need of teachers to be able to support students to to become proficient and successful.

What are my learning goals and message?

This assignment serves multiple of my purposes, and those of my colleagues - Better communication among ourselves and with our fellow teachers, Learning about digital tools, Sharing experiences with our students. We all however shared a common message that teachers are not alone in their journey. Peer support and teaching strategies. I am going to stick with the math, but I have many other areas I would like to pack with me.

As a community of educators and leaders, we all have a duty and responsibility to provide a quality education for our students. This article describes what practical ideas and strategies can be applied at an early age in children and there is a practical approach for teachers and parents to promote a growth and technology mindset in mathematics learning. I share my story and insight in the hope that I may motivate other educators to help our nation create a safe, positive learning environment that promotes a passion for mathematics and encourages our students to push themselves, ultimately my goal is to help improve the mathematics education for all students and take part in making a difference in our educational community.
