What's your
Why?
In his talk, Sinek discusses a motivational pattern that guides us humans to make decisions with a clear goal in mind. He uses examples of leaders from different eras and big companies in various industries that continuously update their products. This pattern applies to many aspects of a growing society, and Sinek calls it the "Golden Circle," consisting of three essential components. The first is WHY, which proposes what you are doing, your beliefs, motivations, and inspirations. Then comes HOW, which explains how you will present your proposal and what makes it special enough to convince your audience or followers. Finally, WHAT tells us that as people, we must know what we need to do to achieve our goals.

My Why
Creating change in an organization takes hard work, effort, and strategy. As I begin to implement my Innovation Proposal in my organization, I have to keep in mind my WHY for wanting to create this change.

Why
The younger generations have changed; that's why incorporating technology in the classroom is crucial in helping them acquire knowledge in Math subjects that will benefit them throughout their lives.

How?
Using Blended Learning as a teaching method to learn Math, allowing learners to have Choice, Ownership, and a Voice in Authentic learning environments, creating a suitable atmosphere for the growth of mindset.

What?
We aim to empower students by equipping them with the necessary tools to integrate into a rapidly changing community, fostering their creativity and innovation.
As we evolve as a species, we regularly uncover new insights into our true nature, propelling us forward as the only beings in the universe capable of comprehending our existence. I want to discuss the Kotter videos "The Heart of Change" and "Leading Change: Establish a Sense of Urgency" in the first, which explore how our emotions impact our daily lives. From a neurological standpoint, emotions and the brain are distinct but interconnected. Emotions often play a more significant role than thought in shaping our experiences, with emotions accounting for 60% and thoughts 40%. We must prioritize our emotions and give them careful attention to achieve significant results.

At times, it's necessary to prioritize logic over emotions. However, Koter is correct in stating that there's always a motivating factor behind our goals. Every day, we wake up with a purpose that propels us forward and gives us a reason to persevere. We all have our own personal "why." What's yours? We have to recognize the importance of urgency. This means that we need to clearly identify the problems we are facing and acknowledge the necessity for change. We have a mission to fulfill.

As educators, it's essential to be clear on our purpose WHY, and approach every day in the classroom, we need to consider not only WHAT we're going to teach but also HOW we'll do it is essential to be prepared for potential problems in the school environment. Our responsibility is to advocate for our students and work towards creating a better future for them. As leaders of generations, we must be agents of change and continuously strive to improve the lives of others. Seeking solutions to enhance education and our community is crucial. Kotter and Sinek's contributions have relevance across various fields, but in education, they form a perfect combination to guide us on where to focus and how to proceed. Their ideas can help us make sense of the direction we need to take.

After evaluating all the information I previously discussed, I believe it's crucial to incorporate emotions and feelings within the school community to teach pre-kindergarten students math successfully. Specifically, engaging students emotions and feelings is essential as they respond positively to encouragement and are eager to learn new concepts. Even though they may struggle to identify their feelings, making them feel confident in their ability to learn and achieve their goals is essential; we can help them overcome obstacles and succeed by persistently working towards our objective. Parents play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals; without their support, we may face more significant difficulties; it's essential to stay in touch with them and encourage them to work as a team with their children; together, we can accomplish great things.

Additionally, school teachers and interventionists are vital to our plan's positive development; letting them know that we're invested in our little ones' learning and want the best for the institution helps us feel united and part of the same team; by working together, we can support each other.

As members of an educational community, each of us plays an essential role in the common goal of facilitating student learning. Parents, teachers, and others must understand the urgency of adapting to the changing needs of the younger generation and making a real effort to effect change. By setting clear goals and committing our minds and hearts, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of pre-k students and help them succeed.
