Aligning Outcomes,
Assessments and Activities

As part of my Innovation Plan, I will create a 3-column table of learning outcomes for my educational environment. When creating planning documents that provide a critical view of the learning environment, it is essential to prioritize the development of effective learning objectives/outcomes and align them with assessments and activities, which is why I will delve into greater detail on planning assessments and learning activities focused on my Innovation Plan.

In Finks' (2003) article, I learned the process of designing an integrated course that can be implemented in the classroom. According to the article, the first step is to gather information and make a series of decisions about what actions we should take to achieve our learning objectives. Once the course is designed, an interaction is created between the teacher and the students to implement it. As educators, we often find it challenging to know where to start and may doubt our abilities. However, this section offers valuable information on assessments and activities that helped me in developing my Innovation Plan with my Pre-K students. Here you can access the BHAG 3-column table, Worksheet 1: Learning Environment-Situational Factors, and Worksheet 2: Questions to formulate important learning objectives, so you can gain valuable insights to apply in your educational environment. I hope these resources prove useful to you.
