I believe that the revolution of our current system in which we put personal growth and personalization before the standardized tests that we currently focus on, I believe that when we begin to support our students in the pursuit of achieving their dreams while exploring their interests of the best way for each student based on their natural talents and abilities. I can also create relationships with my students that allow me to strengthen them not only as students but also as people in general, them and me.
When I get students passionate about what they are learning and interested in a topic, or at least in some lab or activity, I get much more productivity and better discussions, collaboration, and problem-solving among students in my classroom. They are incomparable when my students can apply their knowledge however they want.
The educational reality we live in shows the need for a transformation in the teaching and learning process. As Robinson points out, what must be done to improve our education is to move from an educational model based on linearity and conformity to an agricultural model based on human flourishing, where students can develop solutions.
First, by integrating the fundamental driver of intrinsic motivation and creativity, recognizing diverse talents, and fostering a passion for learning, educators can create more meaningful, stimulating, and relevant learning experiences for all students, allowing them to be self-directed in learning. choose projects. and methods that awaken your creativity and passion for learning.
These videos have profoundly influenced my learning philosophy. They have reinforced my belief in the power of education to ignite passion, unlock potential, and shape a better future. As educators, we have the opportunity and responsibility to lead this learning revolution.
Talent is not created in a certain sense but must be encouraged.
Each student is unique in her passions, strengths, and aspirations.
